24 Sep Visiting Kiron and Wandelwoche

August and September were definitely the busiest months so far when it comes to being on the road with Solimate. Fortunately Mohamed aka Manti joined the team and we finally have a ‘real’ business person on board – woohoo. During what was possibly the hottest weekend of 2016 Solimate was part of the East Side Music Days.

And of course we were part of the Welcome Festival at Tempelhofer Feld – which was simply magic! While Homa and Patrick helped managing the bar, Roberta and Manti had the Kiron crew taste Solimate under trees and on water during Kiron’s Global Weekend at Müggelsee. All this was followed by the Berlin/Brandenburg ‘week of change’, the Wandelwoche – Solimate joint the openings at Potsdam and in the communal Allmende gardens on Tempelhofer Feld in Berlin.

Finally, it was time for Suppe und Mucke (soup and music), the legendary solidarity street party in Friedrichshain, where we shared a stand with the beautiful people of Bag Mohajer. Two weeks later, Solimate was on air for the very first time, not anywhere: on FluxFM! We talked to Flux’ Katja Berg about the unique Solimate taste, the supported projects, mate-market-giants and mate in Berlin. We will soon provide a link via which you can listen again to what Roberta, Manti and Frauke said♩♪♩.
