Matey – tangy – not too sweet: that’s how we like our mate!
It took us some time to compose the perfect recipe – after all solidarity should also be tasty and requires endurance. With lots of real mate and natural caffeine we’re happy to present the perfect SOLIMATE.
Our mate drink contains Fairtrade certified ingredients. Fairtrade systematically supports small farmers and plantation workers and enables them to invest in an autonomous and sustainable future. This is why we see fairtrade as one means to fight poverty and the urgency to leave one’s home: No one flees voluntarily!
Even as small manufacturers we try to implement a sustainable production wherever possible, emphasizing returnable glass bottles, local filling and short itineraries as well as ingredients from eco-farming.
We use a good amount of authentic mate and you can taste that. Mate is extracted from leaves of the South American Ilex Paraguariensis tree.
Next to natural caffeine it contains vitamin C, B2, B3, B5 and B6 as well as a range of other minerals, amino acids and antioxidants.
We’re using fairly traded and eco-farmed sugar of “Asociación de Pequeños Productores agrícolas, cañeros y afines de Colonias Unificadas” from Paraguay.
By adding natural caffeine from coffee beans, SOLIMATE contains 25mg caffeine/100ml, keeping you comfortably awake.
